Changing Times, continued PDF Print E-mail

We are in a time of great change, a time of awakening, when we can become more conscious, more awake. It is a time of a great Pachacuti, when the world as we know it turns upside down, a time of exponential evolutionary growth and transformation. It is a time that has happened at least six times before according to the memories carried by our elders, the wisdom keepers whose memory in oral tradition of the indigenous people goes back far beyond that of our recorded history. This memory is a living flow of wisdom that comes from the First People in the time of the long ago forward into the present bringing with it the knowledge of what is is to be a human being and how to live and walk a path in beauty in this world.

The wisdom of our elders, the ancient cultures of the world, has much to teach us about what it is to be a human being. This wisdom must be preserved and shared with those who come after us. Our elders know how to live in harmony within, with each other, and with our mother , the earth. When we look around us, we see that many have forgotten these ways of healthy living. And we see that this indigenous wisdom of what it is to live and walk in beauty, is sorely needed in the HereNow of the present day for all the people. When we begin to walk in harmony, spreading beauty wherever we go, so that when we pass on, a little bit of this beauty remains for those that come after us.

Our earth mother is calling, calling us to remember, to re-member as in put back together, who we really are. When we awaken, we can step by step transform, and learn to walk a good road on our journey through life as we return to our origin. Within our beating heart is a mystery, the place between beats, our heart's home. Our mind can only question, and our heart contains only answers. When we listen to our heart, we learn how to feel, which takes us deeper into ourselves. Everything we need is within us, everything.

Nature is the home we are all yearning for, the home that lives within the center of our being, our natural home. It is reflected to us by the natural world, our original home, in which we live, move, and are being. When we listen to and honor the indigenous wisdom of our elders and practice it so that it becomes a part of who we are, then we begin to live in a new way, wherein we love, honor and respect each other and our mother, the earth. When we choose to walk the path that takes us within ourselves back to our origin, we begin to move from our minds where we are thinking about our lives, in essence asleep, in to our heart where we are feeling, then into our navel, where we are being. This is a process of personal liberation, of becoming who we already are. For we are the ones we've been waiting for. The time in now to awaken.
