This page contains short stories, articles, and other things that I am writing. Currently, working on two books: one on working with trees (natural medicine) based on my experiences over the years working with tree doctors in the Americas and England; the second is based on my experiences learning about natural plant medicine over the last 13 years in Peru.

There is a movement sweeping our world, a spiritual awakening for all sentient beings that is gaining momentum as we approach a time of great change, what many are calling a pole shift. When the pole, the axis of the world tree that is the electromagnetic field of our world shifts, we all shift for we live in the earth not on it. We have an opportunity to choose, to become more awake, more loving, more caring for each other and Pachamama, our mother, the earth. This pole shift is already happening in the eternal now of the present moment. And the completion of this natural process heralds the beginning of a time of rebirth, a time of peace and harmony among all people. We are in a time of great change, a time of awakening, when we can become more conscious, more awake. It is a time of a great Pachacuti, when the world as we know it turns upside down, a time of exponential evolutionary growth and transformation. It is a time that has happened at least six times before according to the memories carried by our elders, the wisdom keepers whose memory in oral tradition of the indigenous people goes back far beyond that of our recorded history. This memory is a living flow of wisdom that comes from the First People in the time of the long ago forward into the present bringing with it the knowledge of what is is to be a human being and how to live and walk a path in beauty in this world. The wisdom of our elders, the ancient cultures of the world, has much to teach us about what it is to be a human being. This wisdom must be preserved and shared with those who come after us. Our elders know how to live in harmony within, with each other, and with our mother , the earth. When we look around us, we see that many have forgotten these ways of healthy living. And we see that this indigenous wisdom of what it is to live and walk in beauty, is sorely needed in the HereNow of the present day for all the people. When we begin to walk in harmony, spreading beauty wherever we go, so that when we pass on, a little bit of this beauty remains for those that come after us. Our earth mother is calling, calling us to remember, to re-member as in put back together, who we really are. When we awaken, we can step by step transform, and learn to walk a good road on our journey through life as we return to our origin. Within our beating heart is a mystery, the place between beats, our heart's home. Our mind can only question, and our heart contains only answers. When we listen to our heart, we learn how to feel, which takes us deeper into ourselves. Everything we need is within us, everything. Nature is the home we are all yearning for, the home that lives within the center of our being, our natural home. It is reflected to us by the natural world, our original home, in which we live, move, and are being. When we listen to and honor the indigenous wisdom of our elders and practice it so that it becomes a part of who we are, then we begin to live in a new way, wherein we love, honor and respect each other and our mother, the earth. When we choose to walk the path that takes us within ourselves back to our origin, we begin to move from our minds where we are thinking about our lives, in essence asleep, in to our heart where we are feeling, then into our navel, where we are being. This is a process of personal liberation, of becoming who we already are. For we are the ones we've been waiting for. The time in now to awaken. Rainbow Heart Medicine encourages the inter-exchange of medicine globally and provides support for people to explore their individual paths on their journey through life. To learn more, click here.

One world The Sun is our original father, the one we all share, the source of the energy that gives us life and animates all things. The Earth is our original mother, the one we all share, that generously gives us every thing, the food we eat, the matter we play with, our bodies, every thing we need to live. Energy and matter come together to create every thing that has form, giving life to our visions. Every form by it's very nature is sentient, for it has an organizing intelligence, an awareness of itself and the world around it. Nature is our original home so let's care for her and each other. As all good stories start, in the beginning of the Long Ago, there was the Dreaming. Out of the dreaming, came a stone, the world a bare bone lumbering in her infinite potential. Spirit sang, and a vibrating kalaidescope of sound radiated light across the waters. The earth moved and shaked. The Ancestors tracks shaping the body of the world, the mountains, rivers, caves, as they wandered the land in the dawn of it's making. Then, into this fertile darkness, seeds fell into the arms of the Earth who embraced them in her fertile belly. These seeds struggled and stretched, some of them burst forth with life, out of which came the green ones, the plants and First Forest, the forever trees, giving the gift of their breath to the world. Aeons passed, and out of the green, life exploded birthing all kinds of people who moved about in the upper, middle, and lower worlds: the crawling ones (insects and reptiles), four legged ones (animals), winged ones (birds), and two legged ones (humans). The Earth is a school. An accelerated learning class where we come to learn the lessons we have chosen to experience before we were born into form. In this school, there are seven major classrooms of education where we learn about who we really are which can be symbolized by the seven colors of the rainbow: Existence (physical matter), Awareness (awareness of existence), Questioning (search for meaning of life), Judging (Bridging), Knowledge (expressing itself), Wisdom (understanding), and Love (oneness). We see everything before we incarnate choosing what we want to experience on the path that is our journey through life. As souls, we come into this world, time after time, to learn by experience. As we continue to grow and learn, not only for ourselves but for those that come after us, we move forward in these classes along our unique path until we become rainbows, living suns that are bridges that can move between Spirit and matter. Ultimately, expressing as Suns that shine with the light of accumulated wisdom that flows through us, inspiring others to be who they really are. All along the way on our path through life, we are responsible for caring for each other, reaching back to those that come after us to offer a helping hand. As earth keepers, we choose to care for each other, all sentient life, and for our mother, the earth. One people We are all related. We are Children of the Sun here to play with the Rainbow. It takes all colors to make up a rainbow, a bridge that connects the upper. middle, and lower worlds. A rainbow is a bridge of resonant connection that arks across the sky after it rains, a promise of a new beginning for all people. We come from our Ancestors, the origin of which are the First People, the original people that were here in the beginning of the Long Ago. Like the seeds that fall from the great World Tree, we are their children. We stand on their shoulders, receiving their wisdom, gifts, and lessons so that we can create with the fabric of our lives, a new expression. We are all unique expressions of the one great Spirit expressing ourselves. We are all one people, like flowers in a garden. It takes all kinds of flowers to create beauty and harmony within nature. We are interdependent beings existing in different communities. Community is a communion a coming together of people, all kinds of people who bring their different perspectives to the central fire, the heart of the circle that is our world. It's our differences that make life spicy, succulent and rich beyond measure. When we celebrate the diversity, the uniqueness that each of us brings to the circle of community, we can choose to open to receive something far larger than what is seen, to create wonder and beauty. One moment A moment is an instant, a point of perception. The Eternal Now is the instant in which life is constantly creating and unfolding, manifesting what is unknown into what is experienced. There is only the present moment, which is a present (a gift), unfolding infinitely exactly as it should. What is this gift? It is what it is. Life is. We are in a time of great awakening, a time of great change when the world is turning upside down. It is a recurring time of transformation from one world to another, a change from a long night into a new dawn. In our awakening, we can experience the simplicity of our essence, who we really are, the medicine gifts of our natural expression. What is needed is presence, being present in our essence. Our essence reflects the heart of Spirit, the indescribable essence which inspires and animates all life. The time is now. We are the ones we have been waiting for. One expression Love expressed without attachment or expectation is real love. In our essence, we are all love and beauty. We are naturally love itself, expressing our essential truth effortlessly. Unconditional love freely given is good medicine for all creation. |

Pole shift, the times they are a changing... |

The whole world is changing, going through a quantum shift of awareness. We are part of a great cycle of change. So we're building momentum for the pole shift. And this momentum is a wave of energy sweeping the planet in higher and higher frequencies. When enough momentum is built up, like a roller coaster click click click up to the top, then the pole shifts and everything changes. Everything is accelerating up to this shift and it is affecting everyone, every being, all life on our planet. When a certain percentage of the population changes, like the 100'th monkey effect, then everyone of us changes. A new day dawning literally, as we are returning to our origin. Well, this earth school has been stuck in fear during this last great cycle. We’ve got a world where everone is creating, where most people have been creating their reality based on fear. Which is why you hear of only a few masters of the art of living out there, and why everybody becoming their own masters. Look at churchs where you have an intermediary. Where everyone saying oh help me, por favor, I am suffering, expecting someone else to fix their reality, which is only a reflection of what they are creating in their heads. Have you ever been on a train? When you drive around a tight curve in a car you slow down going into the curve then speed up coming out. When you drive a train, you have to floor it on the incoming (so you build up enough momentum to swing shot the whole train so that it can get around it), then it kicks you around the curve. That’s what happening right now all over the planet. That’s why everything is going far faster than mother earth can deal with at the moment.
So as it kicks around the curve, what’s happening is this groundswell that you mentioned of people starting to ask all of these questions. What am I doing? Why am I here? What am I doing? People waking up midlife going “I need to do something to add to this”. Okay we’re coming around the curve, it’s shifting into Love because that’s what it really is. If you look at the evolution of the Soul, big picture. We can look at is as a school with three major campuses that overlap, if you like: Power (Will), Love, and Wisdom. When we are learning about Power, then the studies are focused on control issues which 75 percent of the population are working on at this point on earth. Then, we start learning about Wisdom, when we discover that we can't fix the world, the "uh oh, this kind of approach doesn’t work". Like when Coyote mixs things up, trying to fix the world, and it just gets worse and worse and worse. Then, we learn about Love which is what this earth school is all about. Love is the most refined expression of a human being we can have while in physical form. When we are being love and love is all there is. |

The earth is a school, a holographic world where each being comes here creates their own reality. The outer world reflects exactly what we think and feel within. It's a reflection of what we each carry within our hearts. Thus, the intersection between each of our worlds, our perceptions, creates the consensual reality that we all share and interact within. What an incredible world we live in. A place where we can experience exactly what we focus on, for what we focus on grows exponentially. What do we focus on? We all tend to focus on what we don't want to experience. An endemic cause of pain and suffering in this world is that everyone focuses on what they perceive as problems. What we focus on expands so when we focus on our problems, they expand. Then we tell ourselves stories about it. The more we tell a story, the more we believe it. Then we forget that we created the story in the first place, that we made it all up in our heads. An elder that I hugely respect says that a belief is an argument that we create in our mind to convince ourselves that something is true. So beliefs aren't real, yet we fight for them, which only perpetuates our suffering. The only way a thought has meaning is if we give it meaning. Life is what it is. So if we have to tell stories why not tell positive life enriching ones? Why not focus on what we want to experience? If we focus on beauty, then beauty expands. We are all beauty, love, and joy. Everyone sees what they carry in their hearts. So what we experience is a reflection of what we carry inside us, inside our hearts. Look around in your heart and you will see what comes up. In any community or culture, if you look at the heart, you can see what it's all about. This gives an indication of what the focus of that community is based on. We are turning into the curve. We can think of this as the inbreath of the cosmos coming back to the Source (the our origon). The more we…. When we are born we enter the earth school, an accelerated learning program. Everyone one wants to come here because it's all about love and once you graduate, you can move on to the celestial realms, or another school with different lessons. It's a tough school because when we incarnate we forget what we came here to learn, a voluntary amnesia of sorts to keep the learning interesting so that we directly experience it. So after we are born, unless we've reached a certain level of consciousness before birth, we forget why we came here. And everyone tells us what we have to be in order to survive and we buy into it, forgetting who we are. That's all part of the program. We saw it all before we incarnated, our whole path, who we would encounter, everything, and we chose it. It is what it is. So why not enjoy the ride? We are children of the Sun here to learn to play with the rainbow. So when we come here to learn, we progress bit by bit in the school rooms of earth, moving from red to violet , to eventually become rainbows, along the way overcoming the challenges we have set for ourselves so we evolve and learn as we grow in awareness. When we choose to do this consciously, quietly working on ourselves, we make it easier for everyone else to awaken, like ripples expanding onward a global scale sustainably. We are all in this together so let's help one another, offering a helping hand to those that walk before us, beside us and to those that come after us.
On the path of medicine, that which encourages growth, we re-member (meaning to put back together) who we really are and why we came to this world. Medicine helps people move through their personal transformational process, toward liberation. It's about forgetting who we think we are, so that we can be who we really are. Viva la experience! |
